MoJo is a Black Tri Colored English Bulldog. I first stumbled on him when I was looking for a reverse brindle to add to our family. As a graphic artist and photographer, I found him to be stunning!

As I continued to research the color I found many sites that were attacking the color with claims they were crosses or that they should be killed. What I found interesting is that the AKC actually recognizes this color as an inferior color BUT not so objectionable is it appears in moderate degree of piebald patches! In fact, the only disqualification for a bulldog is a brown or liver-colored nose.

Bottom line is, sometimes it does not matter what the dog looks like as much as who is on the end of the leash. I really feel that if an English bulldog is healthy with an exceptional temperament and meets the structural AKC standard, color shouldn’t matter and certainly shouldn't determine a sentencing to death or shame a breeder into hiding its origin.
