The name Old McDonald Bulldogs was chosen in memory of my loving father who was diagnosed with cancer and died abruptly three months later. He was a wonderful father, silly grandfather, devoted husband, animal enthusiast, and a United States Marine.

Old McDonald Bulldogs is located in rural Wyoming. My love of dogs began when I had acquired a Great Dane, Jezebel. She was my first dog but had quickly become my companion, my baby! Nearly two decades later, my love of dogs carried over to the English bulldog breed. My absolute love of the breed began in 2006 when I purchased my first English bulldog and will continue for my lifetime!

My husband and three children all take an active part in raising a litter. This is a love affair for the entire family! I am a graphic artist and photographer working from home, so I am able to spend every minute of almost every day with the puppies. If they are not being cared for by me, they are watched over by the other members of our house hold, around the clock!

If you are looking for a TV watching, couch lounging, comedian who thinks they are a prince or diva…an English bulldog may be the dog for you! I maintain contact with all of our puppies throughout their life and have kept contact with 90% of our buyers!

I created this page, not to attract buyers, but to discourage the people I would not consider selling a puppy to. We are with the puppies 24 hours a day but I am personally with my puppies for 14 to 18 hours a day and after week two, I tend to get a bit cranky. It gets frustrating when I get the calls that tell me they show and breed then ask if I dock the tails! I tire of the calls that tell me they just bought a 37,000 dollar truck and they are going to breed bulldogs to pay for it! I get livid when a get a call asking me if bulldogs are born with smashed faces or do I have to smash them after birth! I do not breed often, but take each breeding seriously. I am bringing these puppies into the world and it is my duty to find the best homes I can. I am continually trying to better educate myself about the breed as well as revising my method for choosing a home for the babies! I could care less if you are a NFL football player or a Hollywood superstar. I don’t want your credentials and I am not impressed that you have your own plane! I require references from you, a completed adoption application, a phone interview, and a loving home in which my bulldog puppy will be raised, NO EXCEPTIONS!
